This notice explains how TunaBlom handles information shared through tunablom.in. Last updated 28 October 2026.
Information you choose to share
The contact form asks for your name, email address, topic, and message. The optional email updates form asks for your email address and, optionally, your name. It records whether you confirmed the request and your subscription status. Please do not include sensitive personal information in a message.
How we use information
Contact details are used to respond to the message and manage the conversation. Email addresses are used for updates only after the person confirms the subscription. A contact message is never treated as permission to send marketing emails.
Where messages and subscribers are stored
The contact inbox, subscriber list, and campaign records are stored in a SQLite database in a private folder on TunaBlom’s Hostinger hosting account, outside the public website directory. Contact notifications, replies, confirmation emails, and campaigns are sent directly through the owners’ Hostinger mailbox using authenticated SMTP with TLS. The forms and email sender do not send visitor message or subscriber data to an external form service or hosted email API. Hostinger operates the website and mailbox and processes information needed to provide those services.
Spam prevention and technical records
The forms use a hidden honeypot, a minimum completion time, and a small per-address request limit. The application stores a keyed hash of the connecting IP address for rate limiting instead of storing that address in the message record. Hostinger’s server access and security logs may contain IP addresses and request details under its hosting settings.
Email updates and your choices
Email subscriptions use double opt-in. An address remains pending until the confirmation link is used. Every campaign includes a signed unsubscribe link and a one-click unsubscribe header. Unsubscribed addresses are retained as an opt-out record so the address is not accidentally added back to a campaign. Pending sign-ups expire automatically if they are not confirmed.
Retention and deletion
Contact messages stay available to the owners until marked resolved. Resolved messages are automatically removed after 365 days. The owners can delete a message sooner in Email Studio. Campaign content and delivery records are kept on the hosting account until the owners remove them. A person may request access, correction, or deletion through the contact form. The owners may need to verify a request before acting on it.
Cookies, analytics, and external links
The contact and sign-up forms use a short-lived first-party cookie to check the time taken to complete a form. The site does not add an advertising or browser analytics tracker. Hostinger may process technical request information and provide traffic reports in hPanel. Links or embedded content from YouTube, social networks, retailers, or other websites are governed by those services’ own privacy notices and may share connection details when loaded or followed.
Security and responsible organisation
Private server configuration and the application database are kept outside the public website directory. Email Studio requires a long private access token and uses HTTPS. No online service can promise absolute security. This website is operated under the name TunaBlom at tunablom.in. Privacy requests may be sent through the website contact form.
